IUG Arabic Center-internationalization & digitization of IUG through Arabic
IUG Arabic center for teaching Arabic as a foreign language started its first sessions for teaching non-native speakers in 9/1/2017. The center teaches freely as a result of the promotional campaign which was announced in advance on Dec 17, 2016.
It is worth noting that the aim of this free campaign is to teach Arabic for non-native speakers from the whole world as much as possible. The center has opened its doors for registration in this campaign since Dec 17, 2016 and continued until Jan. 06, 2017, to start studying on Jan. 09, 2017 to Mar. 09, 2017.
The enrolled number amounted more than twenty students from different countries as the following: United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Philippines, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bangladesh and America. 9 students will be taught by direct education (face to face) and 14 students by distance education (online).
Teachers and students have shown great commitment and effective presence. Dr. Nazmi has expressed great pleasure for this enthusiasm and activity from both the teachers and the students of the center.
The center includes a number of qualified teachers from Arabic and English Specialties who have been rehabilitated and trained by experts from University of Glasgow and Arabic for All Foundation from Saudi Arabia, which interested in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.
